in true zen spirit, the zen bungalow hosted its first storytelling event on friday, november 18. we believe a balance between work & play is essential to good health for both, and by all measures this event was a rousing success...
in fact, there's so much interest and enthusiasm for more that we're toying with the idea of hosting our 2nd event in december -- at the height of holiday season (what better way to chillax from the hustle and bustle?)
judging from our 1st event, available spaces will fill up quickly. check it out at :: http://zenmoth.eventbrite.com
on friday, march 18, ira rashap of the murphy business & financial group led a group of about 10 business owners on a general discussion of what's involved in the valuation and sale of a business.
ira is a graduate of babson college (both undergrad and MBA), a former staff auditor with coopers & lybrand, a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold a number of his own businesses, and a former national franchise director for 3 national companies. For the past 18 years small to mid-size business brokerage has been his main gig.
we didn't preserve photographic evidence of this month's lunchtime office hours this time around. we do, however, have a different treat -- a not so secret recording of the "crime" as it occurred. thanks to attorney john koenig of indigo venture law offices (our november lunchtime mentor) for making this happen.
check out our podcasts & listen to our lunchtime discussion (sorry -- this is only in windows media file format right now)
